Well, we made it folks!  The holiday season is finally upon us, for good or for ill, the count down is on and time and finances are growing shorter by the day.  Many of us have had a really difficult year but don't let that old Grinch get you down.  You are full of creativity! Especially this time of year if you are anything like us.  This is the time of year to let your light shine bright!

Finances are probably the biggest concern this year and therefore the perfect time to brush off those hidden talents and give of yourself.  Even children appreciate something that you made just for them, believe it or not.  Weather you like to cook, craft, or just spend time with the loved ones on your list; a handmade gift says one thing loud and proud.  "I Love You!"  Isn't that the message we always hope to send?

Even if you have everyone covered on your list, the tree is trimmed and the groceries have all been tucked into the pantry; the time spent getting creative during the hustle and bustle are what fond memories are made of around here.  A little holiday music, some dancing in the kitchen and before you know it that stressful trip to the local mall is just melting away from your beloved spirit. Heck, even just making a paper ring garland can calm the most frazzled of elves! You are tired from all the activity but at peace in your mind, heart and soul.  It's that good kind of tired where you drift off to sleep with a smile on your face.  Even in the midst of some pretty dark times, you refuse to dim that little light.  Good on you!

The completion of another day, season, year or even an era is once again forefront in all that we do and we look forward to a better everything in the year ahead.  We remember the good, the sad and everything in between and all that has transpired in another trip around the sun and carefully plot our steps into the future.  Creativity is a way of life by design.  It really is how we get absolutely everything done.  Our methods and materials may vary but the drive within us to create is universal.  Stay inspired with every step, even the sideways and backwards ones, they all matter.
