Time for a Fresh Start?

Well, it has been way more than a hot minute since my last blog post!  Staying busy doesn't always add up to staying motivated or organized enough to create content.  Much of my time, like many of you I suspect, has been dominated by world events beyond our control.

It's a constant battle between staying informed and staying sane these days and for me at least, it usually results in stagnation and frustration.  Taking time to step away from it all is now a frequent necessity and it too can eat into your productive hours as well as your down time.

So, what's a body to do?  Prioritize, organize, schedule and plan all you like but when something enters your sphere that sends your emotions into the shredder, all of the aforementioned goes straight out of the window!  What amount of time do you let these interferences disrupt your routine?  How quickly can you recover and resume your own agenda?

All good questions but the answers are different for everyone.  Me, personally, when life gets really rough, I turn up some good music and dance it out.  The physical activity really helps me to re-center.  If I am not quite feeling that energetic; I have my sewing, gardening and other crafting activities that I enjoy to comfort my wounded heart and put my mind into a more positive space.
